Unique Article Wizard: Before & After
By MMJ admin on Mar 5, 2010 in Article Marketing
To show the power of Unique Article Wizard I’m going to be doing a “before & after” video series. Today (March 5, 2010) I’m going to be doing the “before” video and in two weeks (March 19th) I’ll be doing the “after.” (I’ll update this entry with the “after video” on March 19th.)
Basically these are going to be short videos which are a screen capture of me searching on Google for a unique phrase. The phrase will be my “author name” for an article submission with UAW (the article will be promoting Magic Article Rewriter which is software that I really do very highly recommend as I use it for all of my article writing/spinning now. It allows me to write/spin just one article to be submitted via Unique Article Wizard, ArticleRanks, Free Traffic System, & Article Marketing Automation.)
The idea is that before I create this unique author name there will be absolutely no results in Google for a “phrase” search but after two weeks of submissions via Unique Article Wizard there will be many results (as shown in the “after” video.)
By the way: I did something similar to this about a year ago but without the video evidence.
The Before Video:
(you will have to look closely at the date! I shouldn’t have used “full screen” on the capture)
The After Video:
(sorry about the crappy quality on the screen capture, I’m new to using it!)
The Results
0 results in Google on March 5th. 170 results on March 19th. And because of the way Unique Article Wizard “drips” out articles so they appear to be more “natural” this number will probably significantly rise in the future. You can search for this unique author name yourself to see the progress. I am not going to use this name again for any other articles so any results you see will be from just one submission.
570 Article Directories & Other Sites
According to Unique Article Wizard themselves this submission has gone out to 570 sites (I drip them out at 50 a day as recommended.)

Already seeing 10 results in Google… and this thing really only started going out yesterday (I don’t think they start new campaigns on the weekends..)

Google is now saying there are over 100 results… and (even more importantly really) the principle lander I was linking to with this ( http://www.moneymakerjobs.com/magic-article-rewriter/180/ ) is now on the second page of the Google rankings for Magic Article Rewriter (I really do very strongly recommend MAR by the way… I use it almost every day.) Before I did this I dont think it was anywhere even in the top 10 pages.

I have both MAR and UAW. Up to this point I have purchase an article and then rewrote it 2 times to submit it to UAW. However, now that I have MAR, I am thinking I can write just one article and use spinner syntax and then submit that to UAW. Not quite sure how to do this.
thank you

153 results now in Google… looks like another successful UAW distribution. I’ll be doing the screen capture tomorrow.

170 results… my screen captures really suck, but I’m hoping you can still get the idea.

gapabral -> it can be a bit confusing using MAR with UAW at first because of UAW’s “three article” method of spinning… but basically what you can do is paste the same article into all three articles… using spinning syntax just as you do in MAR… You will need to include the titles at the top of each one (and each title should be different.) This is a bit of a trial and error thing, I know it’s a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not too bad.
Article Marketing Automation & ArticleRanks are far more user friendly (and they work well too) but I think UAW’s results are worth the learning curve with understanding how their system works.
I do find it simpler than Free Traffic System… I really dislike the way their system works – a real pain in the butt. I still use it though… it works OK, it’s just irritating.

that MAR landing page ( http://www.moneymakerjobs.com/magic-article-rewriter/180/ ) is currently at #11 Google for a search of Magic Article Rewriter … now to be clear – I also linked to that page with the submissions via my other article submission services (Article Marketing Automation, ArticleRanks, and Free Traffic System) and that’s really what I recommend … using all of them in conjunction (with MAR) .. and I’m going to be linking it to it some more in some future articles… but I think that’s some pretty good evidence that this works from a SERPS standpoint.

I just did another search:
Results 1 – 10 of about 368 for “unique author name”
…
pretty damn good.

Thanks for your blog, i really enjoy your experiments.
After watching this I’m thinking of switching from AMA to UAW, i think AMA used to be very good, but now its flooded with autoblogs, which is ok, but a few days ago i checked the ips of the pingbacks i was receiving to my site. I have 2 articles that have been published a total of 90 times last month, around 40-50 different websites but funny thing only 6 different ip addreses,:(
Anyways whats your opinion on seolinkvine by Brad Callen?

Chris, I haven’t heard of seolinkvine until your comment… I will look into it.

780 results as of today… yes I know that if you dig in deeper there only appears to be 80 results… but I’m not sure what that means? Is Google only counting the 80? But why does it say 780 originally? I think Google likes to be a bit mysterious… That’s not something to get too bothered with. Regardless, UAW is very effective. I think people get too lost in this thing of trying to figure out Google. Just do your thing, don’t worry about Google so much.
Also, I’ve joined SEOLinkVine… it seems OK so far… but not quite as smooth as Article Marketing Automation & ArticleRanks as far as user experience… of course what really matters is it’s effectiveness and I can’t say one way or anther about that yet…

I hate to burst your bubble, but ranking for a unique phrase or author name is meaningless no matter how many pages are indexed by UAW.
What matters is what impact those links have on your SEO efforts. In other words, are you ranking any better for the keywords that you were targeting? And if so, did that pull any sales?
I can make-up a unique author name and post it to 1,000+ sites right now, but it won’t have any effect of my bank account.

John –
This isn’t about ranking for a unique phrase. Obviously there is no competition for a unique phrase – it’s only used to know how many pages with that unique phrase on it are indexed in Google. I think you completely misunderstood the point on that one.
And of course the most important thing is how the search rankings are effected for $ making keywords. The problem is that it’s much more difficult to test that in isolation. That’s what I like about this test, it shows me that this particular thing is getting me backlinks of some kind (even if they are not of particularly high quality.)
I have done other tests on this blog (look around if you’d like) where I test my complete system on money making keywords and that has worked well. The thing is I don’t believe any one link building system is the solution, I think they should be used in conjunction for great results. And yes these tools (used in conjunction) have been very helpful for my bank account. This kind of link building is the principle driving force in how I make money online and I’ve been doing it full time for more than five years.
The tests I do are an attempt to find out what works and what doesn’t work as well as I can. It’s very difficult to isolate the reasons for success with SEO and while these tests I do are not perfect, I do think they allow me a greater understanding of the tools I use.
They have also helped me to find out that certain tools I was using were a waste of time and money – that is valuable information. An example is an article submission service I was using where I found that only a handful of very poor quality pages were being indexed for each submission. That test lets me know that particular service is one that needs to be dropped.
For those who want to know what my current link building system is CLICK HERE (it’s a combination of five article submission services with the use of Magic Article Rewriter software.)
