Submit Your Article

I just signed up with Submit Your Article and submitted my first article using their “Article Leverage” system. Basically the idea is you can create multiple versions of your article so that a slightly different version goes up on each directory. This is supposed to help with the duplicate content filter problem. The cool thing about this system is it doesn’t use a random spinner that makes your articles read like garbage, instead it uses a system that takes a little bit longer to use (it probably added about 15 minutes to my article submission) but it makes for much better articles that are actually just as readable as the original if you do it right.

Using this system I’ll get to submit 8 articles a month which may not sound like a lot but since you can rotate the resource boxes as much as you want I can actually get a lot of different links from each article (assuming it gets picked up by a lot of places.) This is great for getting links to tons of different specific pages with just one article. This time I did just three different resource boxes but if this goes well next time I will create 10 different resource boxes so I can actually get links pointed to 20 different URLs with just one article (they have a 2 link maximum, I think, unless I read something wrong. It is quite late.)

One thing I don’t like about it is that I cannot create multiple pen names. That’s unfortunate as I have some wildly diverse niches I would like to write articles for and it’ll look somewhat strange that this one person is writing articles about these wildly different subjects. But I may be reading too much into it. I don’t think too many people will care as long as the articles are of decent quality.

Like anything else it’ll probably be somewhat of a learning curve but I’m hopeful that this can take my article marketing to the next level. My first article was actually over 1200 words which they said is actually too many. They recommended around 700 words for best results.
