More Sales At The Higher Price Point

More sales are starting to come in at the higher price point for my cb diet product. In fact looking at the data I have so far I don’t really see any evidence that my conversion rate has gone down by raising the price. It also doesn’t appear to have gone up (which I’ve heard actually happens sometimes with a price raise.) But I really don’t have enough information to make an informed decision on what to do with the price point just yet. I’m still in testing stage.

But I really would like to keep the price at this level because the big payouts are nice. Affiliates getting $50 per sale seems like it should really encourage affiliates to take that extra step in promoting it.  I know I love promoting products where the payout is a bit higher (as long as they convert of course, otherwise it’s a waste of time.)

I do have some bad news: My Yahoo PPC tracking isn’t working and it appears to be because Yahoo uses letters in their conversion code rather than just numbers like Google & MSN do. For some reason it was causing my “thank you” page to mess up so I had to remove it. A bit of a bummer but I still have AdWords conversion tracking and I know that’s what is most important to most CB affiliates. And it’s an area my product stands out as there aren’t that many CB products with conversion tracking capabilities for affiliates.
