May Profits: $2,676

As I’ve mentioned previously, May was a pretty slow month for me as far as income. I was working a lot on my first Clickbank product as a vendor (which is now complete!) which probably cut into my short term earnings quite a bit (I’m very hopeful in the long term I’ll make a lot of money from it of course.)

Anyway, with the month complete I found that Clickbank (as an affiliate) became my #1 earner for the first time. Like I mentioned yesterday this is less because I did really great with CB (although I did do better) than that I did less well with other things.

My final total for May ended up being $2,676 which is the lowest I’ve been at in a very long time and even lower than last month ($2,924)

It’s also clear that I’m far from my goal of $10,000/month by this summer, I actually appear to be regressing from that!

But with all of that bad news I’m still feeling pretty positive. For one thing while $2,676 profit in a month isn’t a ton of money to many people - I do not live an extravagant lifestyle nor do I have any real desire to (other than taking vacations to places all over the world, that’s the one thing I really want to be able to do that I can’t do now.) So that’s actually plenty of money for me to live on and live comfortably. For another thing this month me and my fiancee have worked on and finished our first Clickbank product and it is now for sale. I’m very excited about the possibilities with this product. I think it could be a huge success.

I’m also pleased that lately I’ve been having more success as a Clickbank affiliate. The last week I’ve been having quite a few $100+ affiliate days on CB and that is why I actually ended up this month not quite as bad as I was thinking it would be earlier on.

Anyway - this is going to be a month spent primarily on marketing the new CB product and getting conversions up for it. As soon as I have conversions high enough I will be making a post here encouraging affiliates to promote it with tips on what’s been successful for us.
