Link Building in 2011
By MMJ admin on Jan 3, 2011 in SEO
What follows is my link building strategy as 2011 begins.
I’ve only been using LinxBoss.com for about a month now but I’ve been pretty impressed by the results so far. So impressed that I’m probably going to be extending my subscription for additional domains sometime soon (you can build links for five domains with an entry level package.)
The big positive with Linx Boss is that it’s a “set it and forget it” way of building links. Once you set up what pages you are linking to and what keywords you want to target there’s nothing more you have to do. In comparison article marketing can be pretty tedious continuous work.
On the negative side with Linx Boss you are limited to just 200 new incoming links per month per domain. For some smaller niches that may be plenty, but for more competitive keywords you will need more links than that. With article marketing you can build as many links as you want. This is why I don’t rely entirely on Linx Boss for building all of my links.
A very cool bonus feature with this service is the very cool informative keyword tracking they do for any keywords that you target in the system. It keeps track of the competition, your rankings (on Google and Bing/Yahoo), how many people are searching for the keyword, and how much money people are paying for CPC ads (these last two bits of info give you a good idea of how much money is really in the keyword.
“UAW” has proved itself to be a great link building tool in test after test. It definitely works. I have no reservations in recommending it. It’s worth far more than it’s monthly cost if you use it effectively (often and intelligently.) You can build five links per article submission because you can include two links in the body, two more in the resource box, and you can also include a link to a YouTube video (which is embedded in your article.)
#3 Article Marketing Automation
“AMA” has been a consistent performer as well. The big positive for me with this article marketing service is that they let me build links to websites promoting this extremely profitable niche (my #1 money maker four years running: “male enhancement.”)
Much like “AMA” as far as its user interface. It’s very easy to use and has been very effective for me.
I don’t like this service as much as the aforementioned three article marketing services with the main reasons being that I think it’s user interface is a bit clunky in comparison and my results have been a bit uneven. In some niches it works really well but in other niches I can’t seem to get much traction at all. That said; it’s proven itself in my tests to be worthy of it’s monthly investment so I do recommend it. If you are promoting some niches where it does well in you may even find it to be exceptionally effective.
I kind of hate the FTS user interface (particularly the tedious “blog choosing”) but my tests have shown that it is an effective service nonetheless. I just find it to be a bit of a headache. Still I continue to use it because it brings pretty good results so I do recommend it. And of course for those who have limited funds to invest there is a free version available.

For #2 through #6 (article marketing services) I write and spin an article with “Magic Article Rewriter” software and then export it in the various formats that each service requires. This is one of the greatest purchases I’ve ever made. I recommend it extremely strongly. It saves me a *ton* of time.

Thanks for sharing you link building tips. Finding easy, yet reliable ways to build links is always a little challenging and you have just introduced me to 3 programs I wasnt aware of which have captured my attention. I shall be checking them all out today. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. Much appreciated.

Hi, nice post you have here. Can I know something? You mentioned in the last paragraph MAR can “export the spun articles in the various format that each service requires”, can MAR really do that?
Meaning just spin, then export into UAW’s, SEOLVINE’s, etc format. Is that true? I can’t see that feature when reading the MAR salespage referred by your link above.
Thanks

I’m so happy with Linxboss that I’ve decided to buy an add on pack of an additional 5 more domains (I have a lot of sites I want to build links for) for an additional $97/month. The good thing is the additional domains are cheaper (per domain) than the first five ($147)

wib – YES! Magic Article Rewriter can export in all of these formats. It even has a custom setting so you can export into any other format that any other system may use.
I export in three different formats:
UAW format export works for both UAW and SEOLinkVine (they use the same format)
AMA format export works for both AMA and ArticleRanks (they use the same format)
FTS format export is just for FTS (FTS has the weirdest format… and it’s actually because of Free Traffic System’s screwy format that I bought Magic Article Rewriter in the first place… at the time I was annoyed about having to buy software to export in their screwy format – but it’s actually saved me a huge amount of time in the long run because now I just write/spin once instead of doing an individual article for each system like I used to do… I can barely believe I even used to do that… I mean… MAR is so worth it – it saves me HOURS every day. literally.)

Hi,
could you share how many articles per week/month you submit to all these services to see decent results? I know it depends on what’s the competition of a phrase, but maybe you have any average? What’s your strategy for a brand new site?
Thanks for sharing with good stuff here;)

Oh, BTW any feedback on rapidfreetraffic.com?

Hey D – I don’t really have a set schedule. I’m pretty lazy. Some weeks I may write/spin 3 or 4 articles.. maybe even 5 (and send out via all of my article services.) … some others I may do 1. or even zero!
As far as how many articles does it take to see results… sometimes just one… sometimes I don’t get the results I want with 10. Like you said it depends on the niche/competition. But I have seen very fast results when linking to pages on established sites for keywords that arent overly competitive.
New sites… well the big thing about new sites I would say is to be patient. It may take quite awhile to see the results you want to see. But just keep building links and creating content and you’ll get there.
And I haven’t even heard of rapidfreetraffic.com (until reading it in your comment) so I can’t comment on that – I’ll look into it.

I’m sorry; I don’t know anything about “TBS” … never even heard of it. I use Magic Article Rewriter so that’s what I know about – I highly recommend MAR.
