Finally Making Some Sales / Closing In On Completing Project

I’m finally making some affiliate sales the last couple of days. It’s always a nice feeling to break through a slump when it seems like nothing is working.

On the other hand my conversions are still very low for OAInternet, which is really the main thing that’s keeping my profits below their usual levels. I’m really starting to think that it’s never going to bounce back up to how it used to be with that. I’m not sure why really but this month my conversion ratio is 1 in 171. For comparison’s sake, in March it was 1 in 45. I don’t really have any evidence that I’m sending lower quality traffic now, so I don’t really have any understanding of why it’s dropped like this. I’m hoping it’s just outrageous bad luck and conversion rates will eventually make their way back up to normal.

In other news my first product as ClickBank publisher is coming along very well. It’s a joint project - My fiancee and I are working on it together (how cool is that?) and I think it’s going to be a big seller. Obviously with it being my first product as a publisher I’m sure I’ll run into a lot of roadblocks on the way to success but I’m confident it can be a big seller. When it’s ready to be promoted by affiliates I will certainly post about it here. I don’t want to give anymore details except to say it’s a very big very competitive niche (I know, I know) and it has nothing to do with making money online.

I also feel that the product itself will be of a much higher quality than the current biggest sellers on CB in this niche (I bought them to check out what we are up against.) I realize that quality probably isn’t actually that important as far as making big money (as sad as that is) but I hope it gives some advantage. You know having a product that isn’t complete garbage? That should be a positive. In the end though I know it’s the marketing that will make or break us. But I have a lot of cool ideas on how to market it that I can’t wait to try.
