EPN Commissions Starting To Come In (eBay Affiliate Program)
By admin on Apr 9, 2008 in Affiliate Marketing
Those of you who are already eBay affiliates are almost certainly aware that eBay recently (April 1st) moved their affiliate program from CJ.com to an in-house affiliate program. We have until May 1st to move all of our links over from CJ to the new EPN (eBay partner network) system. Until then commissions will be tracked from both programs.
So far I’ve moved about half of my eBay links over to the new system and over the past few days I’ve started to see commissions coming in at a pretty nice rate, this is reassuring as going to a new tracking system will always bring worries that it will not track as well as the old system along with, of course, hope that it will track better than the old system. I’m feeling good that the former is not the case although I’m not sure about the latter yet either.
How do I promote eBay as an affiliate? Almost entirely through the use of BANS (Build A Niche Stores.) They are easy to set up and to tweak and there’s almost a limitless amount of niches available to target. Also, since eBay is such a well known company, I find it easy to make conversions with them. I have some of my highest conversion rates with eBay clicks.
Another great feature of BANS is the great customer support they have. When you become a member you get access to the BANS forum which is only for BANS owners. You can get lots of helpful information there and the creators of BANS are always there if you need help.
