Why am I coming back to my blogger account to say I won betting on the Superbowl? Mostly because Google can be a bit Nazi when it comes to talking about gambling with their precious AdSense ads around. This old blogger format doesn't have any adsense so I figure this is a nice place to talk about what was a pretty awesome night for me last night. I signed up at about 25 minutes before the game, deposited $500 into my account and bet on the Giants (straight) to win. They did. I won $2030. They put the winnings right into my account. How cool is that? Why did I do all of this? I don't know really. I'm not actually much of a football fan (to say the least), I think it was just a feeling. I just felt like the Giants were going to win and with the huge odds against them I knew the payout would be huge if they did. Plus it sure made watching the game a lot more exciting. Although, it was a great game anyway.
Clickbank has never been one of my biggest money makers but it's always been something I've been working on as an extra income stream on the side.
On Christmas Day (and the day after) I got a nice surprise and had my biggest earning days on CB ever. I made $228 on Dec 25 and $253 on Dec 26. I had never previously been over $200 in a day before.
It should be noted that the money I make on CB is all profit as I don't use PPC to send traffic to CB. I'm including a screenshot of my clickbank account so you can get an idea of how those days hit me with a bit of a surprise. Unfortunately I haven't hit those heights again since then (yet) but it does have me thinking I should spend a bit more time on CB.

What Products Do I Promote?
I'm sorry but I will not say what CB products I'm making most of this cash with. It takes a lot of work to find the CB products that convert and I'm not willing to just give that info out for free. In my experience it takes a lot of trial & error to find the right clickbank products to promote. I've found that many of them simply do not convert.
How Do I Promote Products?
I use SEO techniques on my own websites/pages. I do not use PPC to direct traffic to CB products. I also do not use Squidoo, or other such free sites. I don't believe in doing that. I think it's important to have your own websites that you build up over time. I think that's the best way towards long term success. Be aware that it can take time for the success (read: money) to start coming in.
