Article Ranks - A Look Inside
By admin on Dec 1, 2009 in Article Marketing
I’m including a screen shot from inside my Article Ranks account below to give you an idea of how the system works and of how many sites you can expect your articles to show up on (although this greatly depends on your niche, and what categories you choose to submit to.) I flipped through to the second page of my stats so you could see the articles that have been up for awhile (rather than the ones I’ve only recently submitted.)

My current article marketing routine is like this:
(1) I write & spin an article (usually around 350 words long) within Magic Article Rewriter (which I highly recommend, it saves me loads of time.) I usually spin it until it says it’s spun about 20% (MAR includes the current number of words and the spun % at the bottom of the article as you’re writing - very convenient.) I don’t use any nested spinning because some of the article submission services I use don’t respond well to it.
(2) I export my article using the Article Marketing Automation button and I then submit via Article Marketing Automation & Article Ranks using that same export (they use the same syntax and Article Ranks doesn’t have it’s own button.)
(3) I export the article using the Unique Article Wizard button and then paste that article into all three article areas (if you use UAW, you’ll see what I mean.) I like to spin my links by including different links in each version of the articles. For example if I’m including three links in my article then I’ll have a total of 9 different destination URLs (3 of which are used in any particular version.) I also include two links in the resource box. This seems to be working really well and allows me to get 5 links with each UAW article.
(4) I export the article using the Free Traffic System button. I find FTS a bit of a pain in the ass to be honest and I’m not sure I can recommend it at this point because of how clunky the system is. But it does have a free version (as it’s name implies) so if you’re totally broke you’ll probably want to give it a try.
(5) This is an optional step that I don’t always take, but sometimes (if I’m feeling energetic) I’ll take a spun version of the article and then add another 150 or so words until I reach 500 and then submit it via ISnare (no spinning.) It may actually make more sense to write the 500 words version first and then just spin the first 300 words.
