Article Marketing Experiment / Test Is Underway

It took me a bit longer to get going than I was hoping it would (and how long these things take is something I should also be considering…) but I’ve now got up four Squidoo pages and have submitted four articles using four different article submission services (which link back to their respective Squidoo pages.)

I’ve explained what I’m doing in detail in this thread on DP.

Obviously it will be some time before I have any real results back but I’ll be adding updates both here and in that thread when I start getting some results back. I may decide to add a second (and maybe third and so on…) article at some point but for now I’m just going to go with the one and see what happens with it.

These are the article services I am testing:

EZineArticles.com (FREE)

+ Unlimited article submission.
+ Picky about where you can link to.
+ Sometimes picky about article content.
+ No article spinning.
+ Usually limited exposure other than on the site itself.

SubmitYourArticle.com ($37/month)

+ Limit of 8 submissions per month.
+ Article spinning.
+ Submits to all of the major directories (including EZA.)
+ Very picky about article content (articles must be non-promotional.)

ArticleMarketingAutomation.com ($47/month)

+ Unlimited submissions.
+ Article spinning.
+ Submits to blogs rather than to directories.
+ Links in content rather than in resource box (there are none.)
+ 3 links allowed rather than 2 (like all of the other services.)
+ Very liberal about article content and where you can link to.

UniqueArticleWizard.com ($67/month)

+ Unlimited submissions.
+ Article spinning.
