AdWords / Diet Product / Outsourcing

I’m canceling my Click2Sell test. I’m just going to stick it out with CB as much I’m annoyed by them and their apparent payment processing problems.

There’s just a few things about the way C2S works that I really don’t like. Mainly the way that so much private information is shown to the buyer. I like the more “anonymous” feeling of CB. Sorry but I don’t want people who buy my digital products to have my home phone number, thanks! (that’s what happens when a consumer buys through Google Checkout) Nor do I want them to have my name. Sure I could probably set up a bunch of new accounts to make things a bit more anonymous but… I’m really not convinced that conversions would be higher – I actually think CB’s payment processing at least *appears* more professional.

Anyway… I do wish CB would get some real competition as far as a competitor who operates much the way CB does but without all of the screwing up! I’m convinced that CB has some serious issues with processing payments correctly. But it also makes sense to me that they would at least be trying to fix this problem. After all, they are losing money with each sale that doesn’t get processed properly as well.

Right now I’m focusing my energy on AdWords, improving my diet product (both the product itself and the marketing of it) and some outsourcing ideas (through Get A Freelancer.) Details? Well… I’m trying some new techniques with AdWords which I think could either be a huge breakthrough for me, or a big waste of time. AdWords is, of course, extremely frustrating to work with as it never appears very clear why Google is (or isn’t) showing my ads. Sometimes it seems like no matter how much I bid, they won’t show them.

As far as my diet product: I have a lot of ideas right now on how to market it. Ideas that I will eventually be passing along to my affiliates so they can improve their conversions. I also of course want to improve the sales letter which will improve everyone’s conversions.

Outsourcing? I think I’m doing too much of my own “dirty work.” It’s time to start paying people to do some stuff for me. That should be more effective if I can find some “good help.” (That can be quite difficult.)
