AdWords: Content Network Blues

I’m back at trying to get some action with AdWords again. In particular I’m trying to get banners ads up for my clickbank diet product showing on the content network. I don’t know why but I’m having a very difficult time getting this going. It’s very frustrating. Also frustrating is when you ask them what the problem is and they don’t really look at your problem specifically.
I really think running a huge banner campaign for this will really help because it’ll raise the profile of the brand name and make it easier for me (and affiliates) to make conversions. So here’s hoping I can figure it out. I’d love some hints too from anyone who successfully uses the content network (I’ve always struggled with it.)
I’m happy to say I think I’ve at least sort of figured this out and I’m starting to get traffic from the content network. I even made a sale with it today (of TDOD) hopefully just the first of many.
