AdWords Confessions

As I’ve mentioned on this blog quite a few times, I make most of my money these days from organic SEO traffic but recently I’ve been looking to seriously get back into the PPC game (I used to be a PPC only guy) in order to increase my income streams. Right now I only spend about $10 a day on PPC.
Because of this I got the AdWords Confessions eBook. At first I admit I was a bit disappointed by how it started out (very simply and with a plug to become an affiliate for him) and some of the information in it is very basic that anyone who is familiar with AdWords will already know (although it may be helpful for newbies) but as I read on I found some really useful information that has me very excited about getting back into the AdWords game in a big way. There are some true nuggets of AdWords wisdom in this guide that I didn’t previously know that I am sure will increase my chances of success getting back into the PPC game.
Obviously I don’t want to spill all of the secrets of the eBook as that wouldn’t really be fair to the author of the book but what I will say is that the information I found particularly interesting were the ideas on ad placement positions, how to make initial bids properly, and how to select KeyWords.
Most people who get into AdWords don’t have the info in this eBook and that’s why they fail. If you plan on spending a lot of money on AdWords I really think you’ll end up saving a lot of money in the long run (and being far more successful) if you read AdWords Confessions first.
I’ll certainly be using the techniques I’ve learned about in this eBook in my own AdWords campaigns, in fact I plan on doing that as soon as I’m done with this blog post. I’ll keep you updated on how it goes!
