About MMJ

I’ve been an internet marketer since February 2005. I’ve been a full time internet marketer (ie: no “day job.”) since May of 2005.

When I first started out I made all of my money from PPC (AdWords mainly) I just sent PPC traffic directly to affiliate sites. Unfortunately for me my main money maker changed their PPC rules and I was no longer able to make money with them in that way. I had to change course.

That’s when I started to get involved with building my own websites and organic/SEO traffic. I’ve still relied almost entirely on affiliate marketing for my income (although I added AdSense as a side income stream.)

I do have plans to get started as an info product publisher in April (ie selling my own products) and I’ll certainly update this section if that happens. I’m excited about the prospect of having my own product after all of these years as an affiliate marketer.

***UPDATE***

I am also a Clickbank vendor now (although affiliate marketing is still the biggest part of my income) … promote my Clickbank product and earn $25 per sale: Diet Affiliate Program.

Read the blog to keep up with what I’m doing with internet marketing. Hopefully you will find some useful nuggets of information to use. I try to disclose more real information than most internet marketing blogs. And I really think most internet marketing blogs are ran by people who only make money telling people how much money they make (ie just selling internet marketing products to newbies.) I don’t do that. I make almost no money from internet marketing products. And the internet marketing products I do sometimes make money from are things that I actually really use myself.

My Stupid Domain (MoneyMakerJobs.com)

I hate my URL and I wish I had bought a new domain when I decided to start this internet marketing blog.  Let me explain why this is my url is MoneyMakerJobs.com — A long time ago I decided to test newspaper classified ads and I wanted an easily memorable URL to place in my ads. I came up with this one. I tried it and it didn’t work at all for me. So later when I decided to start this blog I decided to just use that domain since I already bought it and it was already indexed. I now think that was a mistake. It makes this blog look cheap, like one of the many splogs out there that start a blog on an unrelated URL. But I figure it’s too late to change it now. So… At least it makes for a neat little story.

And in a “if you really stretch it” sort of way it is related to the blog: internet marketing is a “money maker job!” … It’s how I’ve made my living for five years now.

MMJ

In 2010 I’ve started calling this blog MMJ… since I hate the actual “money maker jobs” I figure I’ll just use the initials… sort of like Kentucky Fried Chicken becoming KFC.

Recommended Affiliate Programs

Clickbank Diet Affiliate Program (make $25 per sale.)

This is my program so obviously I want you to become an affiliate for my product! If you create good keyword targeted pages (they can’t just be brand name targeted, they have to be something like this: “Lose Belly Fat“) that promote this product I may be willing to help you build links to them using my article distribution techniques. Send me an email once you’ve created these pages and let me know.

OA Internet (Male Enhancement) (great conversion rates, high payouts)

This is something that I’ve had a ridiculous amount of success with over the years. People really buy these products. Now… I don’t feel great about that really because… well I think you know why. But hey, money is money. Capitalism! I recommend using Article Marketing Automation & ArticleRanks to build links to your Vimax landing pages. It’s often hard finding places where you can build links to pages on this type of topic… and with these services you can.

Recommended Web Host

Host Monster

I use a lot of shared hosting companies and they’ve been the best one I’ve found so far. One great feature they have is $10 domain registration (with privacy included!) ***Update: they don’t appear to be including privacy anymore… which is a bummer because now I’m having to pay for it on a lot of domains where it was free previously…. but that said, I still recommend Host Monster… they’re a good host.
