Yahoo Search Marketing Is Too Often Overlooked
Google Google Google! That's all anyone talks about. Today I'm here to talk about Yahoo Search Marketing (The Artist Formerly Known As Overture.)
While Yahoo's PPC has some negatives going for it in comparison to Google's AdWords (less traffic, crap interface, less likely to accept ads, slow to accept ads) it also has some big positives that make it worth your time.
What are the positives? Well first of all I have found that I have higher conversion rates with Yahoo's PPC than I do with AdWords. So while the traffic may not come in as fast, the traffic I do get from Yahoo is of very high quality. And with all of the crap useless traffic you can get out there in the wild world of the internets you should jump at any chance for quality traffic that can make you sales. Another big positive is the fact that it is so often overlooked (Google Google Google.) In other words there is less competition for the top spots for your keywords.
